During a trip to Morocco in the city of Fez, the artist attended a Gnawa lila, a nocturnal ritual that lasts a whole night and where initiates called the m'aalemin invoke different invisible entities such as genies, saints, spirits through their songs and music that provoke states of trance in people attending the ritual. The artist then summoned her own lila and invited different people to attend. She then installed a Go Pro camera on the torso of one of the m'aalem to film the movement and visually reproduce the state of trance in which he was.
